Cumbria Audio Trail
Distance: 3 miles (5km)
This mp3 trail is a circular walk around the South Lakeland town of Sedbergh and along the banks of the River Rawthey. There are regular bus services to Sedbergh and several pay and display car parks. Most of the route is along pavement or well-maintained footpaths but there may be muddy sections. The route is generally flat with gates rather than stiles but there are two or three steep inclines.
Before you set off, print out a copy of the walk route from the website or save it to your mobile phone. An up-to-date Ordnance Survey map is also recommended - Explorer OL19 is the one for this area. You should wear strong shoes or walking boots and take wet weather gear. For more information about what to wear and staying safe, visit our ‘planning your visit’ webpage.
These are the stopping points on the audio trail. Some link through to further information on this website which you might like to read before you set off. If your mp3 player allows you will also see a photo of each as the audio plays.
