In this section you will find twelve stories (and a song!) all about life in the Yorkshire Dales in days gone by. We hope that you enjoy reading them. Young Archaeologists

During 2004 children from two Yorkshire Dales primary schools worked as 'Young Archaeologists' on a project to record archaeological sites near to their schools.

The children worked in teams, led by a professional archaeologist called Kevin Cale, to survey the surface features and interpret the archaeological evidence.
