Description

A memorial commemorating the crash of a Polish-crewed RAF Wellington bomber in 1942. One crew member survived the crash and managed to make it down the hill to the safety of Cray village by following a set of fox’s paw prints in the snow. The stone memorial carries a bronze fox’s paw print in recognition.
