The remains of a 10 metre diameter stone circle now lie almost covered in peat and dense heather on Mossy Moor Ridge above Hebden. When surveyed in 1948 it comprised of three upright stones, set on edge, and two other stones broken off at ground level, all of which appeared to be set on a slight earthen bank. In addition, there were four other stones lying within the circle. During the original survey another stone circle was recorded as lying close by. There is now no trace of it.
