The workshop is attached to the left of the farmhouse building. It is a single-storey building with two large 16-pane fixed windows on the front. The farmhouse and workshop probably date to the earlier part of the 18th century with late 19th century remodelling.


Take minor road from Dent village centre that runs past the Post Office and continues east along south side of river. Cage Farm is just under a mile further along on the left hand side just after turning to Slack. No public access. View from roadside.
