Two arched stone gateways, one now blocked to form a house. Built before 1755 formerly with doors in the arches and with a postern (small access door) between them giving access to the stables in Lodge Yard owned by 18th century racehorse owner and master of hounds John Pratt. Site lies on west side of main road through Askrigg in the centre of the village.
