Timber AA telephone box of a type dating to around 1956. It is a rectangular kiosk with a board floor to the road. It carries an AA plaque and box number (442) on the left side and further AA plaques on the gable each side. These boxes were phased out in 2002 and the telephones removed. This example along with a handful of others has been listed in order to preserve it.
